I am a Computer Simulation and Gaming graduate from the University of Tulsa. These are a few of the games I've made and assets that I've created during school.
When I design games, I want people to feel like they’re home and that they can stay in their own world forever. I want people to feel like they can escape from their real-world problems in the games I make. Games should be enjoyable, sometimes the real world is not. I want my games to give people an enjoyable experience that they can think back on without remembering the bad times. My games will feature stylistic artwork with casual gameplay that someone can pick up and play for hours as well as pick up and put down. It will be a game that its story flows using in-game time instead of having daily tasks so that the player doesn’t feel frustrated or stressed about missing a day or two of gameplay. The games I have designed have all had random generated aspects to add challenge and replay value, so that no two gaming experiences would be alike. I also make sure that my games had a cohesive style or theme to them; making a game that has cohesive, stylistic art is important to me as a game designer. My games will have rewarding challenges that force the player to make decisions and think about how they want the game to shape out. With games getting more and more competitive, I want to design games that are designed for either single player or multiplayer cooperation. I want the feeling of fun to be associated with working together or being able to do it on your own. The creation of a game is almost a game itself; the feeling of creating a game people enjoy playing and will play over and over is unbelievably rewarding. I want the players to feel as rewarded as I do.
